On 23rd of March, 2022 trainees organised a short informational presentation on 4 different topics: Personal Hygiene, Menstrual Hygiene, Child Right and Good and Bad touch. This program was conducted in Shikharapur Community School for the students of Grade 8. Trainees all gathered in the school by 11 and were ready for the program. First the trainees all introduced themselves to the students and started a short and informative presentation on different topics mentioned above.
First trainees gave a short information about Personal Hygiene and moved on with Menstrual Hygiene. Their trainees shared their information on menstrual hygiene like how we must switch to eco-friendly ways, by using the cotton cloth pads and menstrual cup made of silicon and approved by the doctors. There one of the students was curious about the menstrual cup and asked the trainees to explain more about it where one of the trainees did explain in detail about how it is used, how it is cleaned and how it is stored. Then trainees moved on with the other topic that is Child Right where the trainee explained in detail about every right the child should get. The last topic was Good touch and Bad touch where the trainees talked about human touches of different variations according to the intentions of people.
The trainees had organised this program in the common hall present at the school. The children of Grade 8 were interested in learning about the topics presented by the trainees. This awareness program was successfully completed in an hour of time.
