Shikharapur Community Learning Center (CLC), with support from ONGD-FNEL Luxembourg, is organizing a Capacity Building Training for students of Shikharapur Open School. This training targets students studying in Basic Level Grade 8 and Secondary Level Grade 10, primarily those who had previously left school for various reasons. The program aims to reintegrate these students into the formal education system through condensed courses designed by the Nepal Government.
The training will provide essential skills for continuing education, including tips for effective learning and examination strategies, personality development, and motivational sessions. Notably, successful graduates from the Open School will share their inspirational life stories. The event will also include engaging activities such as games, inspiring videos, and a field trip to local farmers who have excelled in their field.
The ultimate goal of this initiative is to motivate students, encouraging them to pursue education and gain certification, which can lead to various income-generating opportunities. The training is set to empower these students, equipping them with the skills necessary for a better future and sustainable livelihood.
