Kathmandu, March 15, 2024 – Shikharapur Community Learning Center (CLC), in collaboration with Elevate Skills USA and the Rukmini Foundation, successfully conducting a comprehensive training program on Computerized and Tally Accounting. The training is a significant component of the Job Oriented Professional Development Training organized from January to March 2024.
Held at the Agriculture Learning Resource Center (ALRC) Building, a joint initiative of ONGD-FNEL Luxembourg and Shikharapur CLC, the program aimed to equip participants with essential skills for modern accounting practices.
The initiative primarily targeted youth and women entrepreneurs in Kathmandu and Makwanpur, aligning with ALRC’s mission to foster entrepreneurship in these communities. Participants received hands-on training in utilizing computerized accounting software like Tally, enabling them to streamline financial processes and enhance business efficiency.
Mr. Niroj Shrestha, Director of Shikharapur CLC, expressed his satisfaction with the program’s impact, stating, “Empowering our youth and women with practical skills is crucial for sustainable economic development. This training equips them with the tools necessary to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape.”

As Nepal continues to prioritize skill development and entrepreneurship, initiatives like these play a vital role in building a capable workforce and fostering inclusive economic growth. The training is led by Chief Trainer and Resource Person Mr. Rajesh Trivedi, a Chartered Accountant and an MBA, came from USA, who has worked in many multinational companies and is a great motivational personality as well.
