Practice sustainable farming system and helping farmers to start organic farming.
Through our farming school (link to Trainings lead to entrepreneurship) in the Bottle House, we are able to promote organic farming. By starting a parallel livestock farming program, we can use animal manure to make organic fertilizers while producing additional organic products, such as fresh milk and paneer. We also do vermicomposting and other kinds of waste recycling. Our practice of greenhouse farming of cash crops and mushroom cultivation has diversified local products for consumption. We sell our fresh products to local markets, and recently via social media to directly connect to our consumers. Sometimes people visit our school to buy products.
