The second phase program of gender equality and social inclusion mapping training organized by Shikharpur Community Learning Center with the support of Dakshinkali Municipality was completed on 16th of February at Shikharpur Campus Hall. There were 40 participants, including women representatives of 9 wards of Dakshinkali municipality, chairperson of village development organizations, chairpersons of women’s groups, members of branches under the municipality, Nepal Police, community service centers, self-defense trainers and staffs of Shikharapur community learning center. Dil Bahadur Basnet, Nanimaya Thapa and Chief Executive Officer of Dakshinkali Municipality Bholaprasad Chapagai were present as resource persons in the training.
The training was conducted with the aim of knowing the status of gender equality and social inclusion in Dakshinkali municipality and building a municipality based on gender equality and social inclusion. During the training, the executive head of Dakshinkali Municipality, Bhola Prasad Chapagain, gave information about what leadership development is and how to do leadership development, while Dil Bahadur Basnet and Nanimaya Thapa gave detailed information about gender equality and social inclusion, gender responsive budget, sustainable development goals and localization, gender equality and Social inclusion mapping process and methods, gender equality and social inclusion mapping, ward-wise stakeholder analysis for gender equality and social inclusion, task responsibilities and creating an action plan for inclusive mapping were also discussed.
Therefore, we believe that this training will help in the development of the municipality by analyzing the situation of gender equality and social inclusion within the Dakshinkali municipality.

दक्षिणकाली नगरपालिकाको सहयोगमा शिखरपुर सामुदायिक सिकाइ केन्द्रले आयोजना गरेको लैङ्गिक समानता तथा सामाजिक समावेशी नक्साङ्कन तालिम दोस्रो चरणको कार्यक्रम फागुन १६ गते शिखरपुर क्याम्पस हलमा सम्पन्न भएको थियो । दक्षिणकाली नगरपालिकाका ९ वडाका महिला प्रतिनिधि, टोल विकास संस्थाका अध्यक्ष, महिला समुहका अध्यक्ष, नगरपालिकाअन्तर्गतका शाखाका सदस्य, नेपाल प्रहरी, सामुदायिक सेवा केन्द्र, आत्मरक्षा प्रशिक्षक र सामुदायिक सिकाइ केन्द्रका कर्मचारीसहित ४० जना सहभागिहरु रहेका थिए । तालिममा स्रोत व्यक्तिका रुपमा दिलबहादुर बस्नेत, नानिमाया थापा र दक्षिणकाली नगरपालिकाका कार्यकारी प्रमुख भोलाप्रसाद चापागाईको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो ।
दक्षिणकाली नगरपालिकामा लैङ्गिक समानता र सामाजिक समावेशीकरणको अवस्था जान्न र लैङ्गिक समानता र सामाजिक समावेशीकरणमा आधारित नगरपालिका निर्माण गर्ने उद्देश्यले तालिम सञ्चालन गरिएको हो । तालिममा दक्षिणकाली नगरपालिकाका कार्यकारी प्रमुख भोलाप्रसाद चापागाईले नेतृत्व विकास भनेको के हो र नेतृत्व विकास कसरी गर्ने भन्ने बारेमा जानकारी दिनुभयो भने दिलबहादुर बस्नेत र नानिमाया थापाले लैङ्गिक समानता र सामाजिक समावेशीकरण तथा लैङ्गिक उत्तरदायी बजेट, दिगो विकास लक्ष्य र स्थानीयकरणका बारेमा विस्तृत जानकारी दिनुभयो, लैङ्गिक समानता र सामाजिक समावेशी नक्साङ्कन प्रक्रिया र विधि, लैङ्गिक समानता र सामाजिक समावेशी नक्साङ्कन, लैङ्गिक समानता र सामाजिक समावेशीकरणका लागि वडावार सरोकारवाला विश्लेषण, समावेशी नक्साङ्कनका लागि कार्य जिम्मेवारी र कार्ययोजना निर्माण गर्ने विषयमा पनि छलफल भएको थियो ।
तसर्थ यस तालिमले दक्षिणकाली नगरपालिका भित्र लैङ्गिक समानता र सामाजिक समावेशीकरणको अवस्थाको विश्लेषण गरी नगरपालिकाको विकासमा सहयोग पुग्ने विश्वास लिएका छौं ।
