Luxembourg Scouts’ Camp Set to Kick Off on April 3

The Luxembourg International Scouts’ Camp is all set to kick off at the Shikharapur CLC in Pharping, Kathmandu from April 3 to 12. This year’s event promises to be a fantastic experience for scouts from around the world, who will have the opportunity to explore the beauty of Nepal while participating in a wide range of activities.

The camp will offer scouts the chance to engage in hiking, camping, team-building exercises, volunteering in different construction activities and leadership development sessions. In addition to these activities, the camp will also provide a unique cultural exchange opportunity for scouts to learn about the customs and traditions of Nepal.

Youth Scouts all the way from Luxembourg will participate this camps which will be based in a newly constructed building which has been supported by Nepal Government and ONGD-FNEL Luxembourg. The overall management of the camp will be done by FNEL Scouts and Guides (Luxembourg Scouts) in connection with SCLC. ONGD-FNEL Luxembourg is collaborating as both host and funding partner in this camp.

With the start of the camp just a few days away, excitement is building among scouts and organizers alike. The Shikharapur CLC in Pharping, Kathmandu is an ideal location for the camp, offering stunning natural surroundings and ample space for activities.
Overall, the Luxembourg International Scouts Camp promises to be an unforgettable experience for all participants, and is sure to leave a lasting impression on those who attend. The scouts will participate in Finish up of 1 story of newly constructed building where they will help painting, fitting of UPVC/Aluminium doors, windows and partition, fencing of land, gardening, agriculture activities, eco- construction etc and many other maintenance activities.
ONGD-FNEL Nepal Partner organization will also attend this camp to share and learn. One more interesting activity is Mithila Art demonstration and making a moral in the wall of new building. As stated above, the overall expenses of the camp and different development is supported by both FNEL Scouts and Guides and ONGD FNEL Luxembourg.
