ONGD FNEL Experience exchange seminar of partner organizations

Many countries have been cooperating in Nepal’s social development. Luxembourg’s ONGD FNEL Scouts and Guides has also been doing remarkable work in the field of education, health, employment, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, technology-friendly education, infrastructure development and agriculture in collaboration with NGOs from different districts of Nepal.

 

Based on 12 organizations, ONGD FNEL has been working to help the people at the grassroots level. Adhering to the principles of harmony, coordination and effective local cooperation, ONGD FNEL has been working for the same principles in Nepal.

ONGD FNEL Board Member Martine Faber, Program Manager Julie Deneve, Luxembourg Scout representatives Philippe, Nora and Julie’s team visiting various organizations in Nepal on 6 April 2022 at Shikharapur Community Learning Center has been completed. In the program conducted by Shikharapur, Program Manager Niroj Shrestha, Chairman Shyam Bahadur KC appreciated the contribution of social organizations in the basic development of the community and highly appreciated the incomparable support of ONGD FNEL.

The 12 organizations present at the event are Shikharapur CLC, Hospital and Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children in Nepal, Setu Nepal, Right4Children, The Umbrella Foundation, Prisoner’s Assistance Nepal, DIRDC Baglung, Open Learning Exchange (OLE) Nepal, SAATH, Hamro Palo, Forward Looking and Being Youth. The organizations presented their work progress and good practices. In the program conducted by Shikharapur, participants were taken for short tour to agricultural learning resource center building which is under construction, and bottle house agriculture project were also reviewed. During the visit to Bottle House, Saraswati Dotel and Mina Thing, staff of Agriculture Project, gave some information. Philippe, a representative of the Luxembourg Scouts, also spoke about their upcoming program. The program was successfully completed with the remarkable participation of all the organizations.
