Series of Training for Entrepreneur Farmers

Shikharapur Community Learning Center (SCLC) is gearing up to organize a series of training programs for farmers in collaboration with ONGD-FNEL and Dakshinkali Municipality. The training sessions will include a Best Practice Sharing Workshop, a Training of Model Successful Farmers program, and an Entrepreneurs based workshop. Dates for the training will be decided and finalized with Department of Agriculture/Livestock at Dakshinkali Municipality. The trainings will be held in Agriculture Learning Resource Centre (ALRC) Building at Chintaganesh Sthan.

The Best Practice Sharing Workshop will bring together farmers from Dakshinkali Municipality and Indra Sarowar Rural Municipality to share their best farming practices with each other. This will be a great opportunity for farmers to learn from each other and improve their farming techniques.

The Training of Model Farmers program aims to train a group of farmers to become model farmers who can then pass on their knowledge and skills to other farmers in their communities. This program will help to improve the overall farming practices in the area.

The Entrepreneurs based workshop will focus on providing farmers with the skills they need to become successful entrepreneurs. This workshop will cover topics such as marketing, financial management, and business planning. The goal of this workshop is to help farmers turn their farming activities into profitable businesses.

The training programs are expected to have a positive impact on the local farming communities, and help to improve the livelihoods of farmers in the area. These trainings and the overall project is funded by ONGD-FNEL Scouts & Guides, Luxembourg.
