Mr. Sharma has a 5 decade of experience in working in public health . He has initiated many social initiatives based in Pharping. He is also founder of Manamohan Memorial Community Hospital (MMCH).
CLC serves as a platform where scholars and health workers can discuss various public health issues and challenges faced by the community. This exchange of information helps in identifying common health problems, finding solutions, and creating effective health policies and programs.
The team visited and interacted with staffs of Sheshnarayan Health Post. Nurses and staffs gave a brief introduction and a short site tour of their facilities. Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHV) from Dakshinkali Municipality were invited to SCLC’s Bottle House Conference Hall for their experience sharing. The participation of FCHV has been crucial as they play a vital role in community health promotion and disease prevention. The scholars and health workers can provide them with the latest information, training, and techniques to improve their effectiveness. The delegates visited MMCH and met with the administrative staff and a MDGP Doctor. They discussed about the common diseases, the health issues, and also the status of hospital.
The collaboration between Shikharapur CLC and PAHS is also essential as it strengthens the relationship between institutions and promotes the sharing of resources and expertise.
