Ranjit dropped out of school after reaching his 8th grade due to peer influence. He decided to resume his study after two years and came to Shikharapur Community Learning Center to enroll into the Open School. He eventually passed Grade 12. “In Shikharapur Community Learning Center, I received training in tunnel making and now I am working as a technician to build plastic tunnels in my home village. I also educate fellow villagers about opportunities in agriculture, while doing vegetable and poultry farming business myself.”

मेरो घर मकवानपुर जिल्लाको इन्द्रशरोवर गाँउपालिकामा हो । म एक सामान्य परिवारको व्यक्ति हुँ । मैले कक्षा ८ पढ्दा पढ्दै साथीको संगतले पढाइ छोडे त्यसको २ वर्ष पछि मैले पढाईको महत्व बुझे ।मेरो परिवारको आग्रहमा म यस सस्थामा आएको थिए । र यहाँ बसेर कक्षा १२ उतिर्ण गरे ।मैले यस अवधि मा पढाइको साथसाथै व्यक्तित्व विकासका कुराहरू , कम्प्युटर र विशेष गरी कृषि सम्बन्धि धेरै कुराहरु सिक्ने अवसर प्राप्त गरे ।मैले यस संस्थामा रहेर टनेल बनाउने सम्बन्धि तालिम लिएको थिए ।र म हाल आफ्नो गाँउ फर्किए पछि गाउँमा तरकारी खेतीको महत्व र कृषिमा भएका अवसरहरुको बारेमा बुझाउँदै प्लास्टिक टनेल निर्माण गर्न प्राविधिकको रूपमा काम गरिरहेको छु ।यसको साथसाथै मैले आफ्नै घरमा तरकारी खेति र कुखुरा पालन व्यवसाय पनि गरिरहेको छु।
